Based on a template I found at http://www.webjones.org/ , here’s a new front page.
I’m munging the heck out of the CSS as I see fit. And I’ve disabled several parts I don’t like.
And Note: It’s NOT Valid XHMTL and I don’t really care. I might fix it, I might not.
As an added part: You notice there is an image at the right that is static. I will feature a new image there every couple of days. These are all images taken by myself or Dawn. I may also add on a description box for each image telling where it’s from. (For instance the Angel is part of a stained glass window from Wesley’s church in London, UK.)
About The colors: The colors of the site will change to compliment the image to the right (i.e. the background matches the wings, the post boxes match the robe)

Every once in awhile I’ll recount a case I worked on. This one is ongoing (or going on right now, however you want to consider it). Names (except mine and Chris) have been changed to protect the innocent, guilty, and my arse.
Wednesday afternoon around 3 oclock I get a call from a good client. We’ve been doing work for this guy for at least 6-7 years, and he’s an attorney we occassionally use. Overall a nice guy and a nice client.

I got a junk fax earlier (nothing new - with 2 fax numbers coming in, we get a half dozen a day easy), and when I picked it up and then crumpled it to go for 3 pts, I got a papercut.
I know I can go after the Junk Faxer for the junk fax (an illegal act), but can I have him charged with a felony now too? After all, he caused me injury as a result of his illegal act.
Things to ponder.

The new Popular Photography & Imaging magazine came in the mail yesterday, and I looked it over during lunch. I never made it past their new camera review though: It was on a pre-preduction model of Fuji’s new S3 Pro, a 12.3 MP DSLR with the Super-CCD SR sensors. This baby has all the bells and whistles I want, and looks to be the best thing to come out so far in the DSLR market. The one stickler - $3000 estimated price. The S2 is widely liked in the professional photographer (like wedding and product shot) world, and this is an improvement on that one.
DPReview also has a pre-production review.
So as soon as I get SunStockPhoto finished and running, everyone buy stuff from it so I can afford to get this beauty!

Seems my machine at home has been hit with a virus. It’s using alot of processor time and is accessing the net. I can’t seem to get it shut down at all and zonealarm is not identifying the process.
Likely culprit seems to involve the following file “BFSFOTDF.dll” in my Winnt\system32 directory. It appears all in caps like that (other dlls are in lowercase) and has todays date. I can’t delete it (even in Command Line Safe Mode). It’s not being detected by AVG, and I can’t find any referance to it on Google, Yahoo or Altavista.
Anyone have any ideas?

Here’s a picture I took in Yellowstone this summer. Zoto seems to have added Wordpress support, so now I’m testing it. I know it’s not XHTML compliant, but we’ll see how close it gets.
Edit Note: Well the post title does not get set right, so you have to do that by hand, and it also does not set categories. Overall it works well to get the image in here, then takes some hand editing.

Just tried out the new Amazon subsidiary search site A9.com
It’s pretty cool. Seems to use Google’s search results with a bit of extra effects/tweaks.

I’ll re-post some of the stuff from our wedding (can you believe it’s been almost 5 years already?) soon. (well soon is a relative term.)

Okay, I put a new menu in after much testing (broke so many things in my other attempts).
Now I have to fix some of the pages, but at least it works.
Also have to add header images to make this page look real again.
Edit: Seems the Menu is not perfect and goes to two lines on some browsers/resolutions. Aaargh.
