More Photos

Here’s some more photos taken with the Canon 20D, either at the zoo or elsewhere.

All these images are as they come straight out of the camera, no post processing, except they were resized to 800 pixels in width. The one of Ben was also cropped first for a rule of thirds and atmosphere view.

Statue of Jesus outside St Pauls. Taken at night.
28mm, Iso 800, 1/6 sec, f 4.0

Transco / Williams Tower. I liked the geometry of the lines and lighting on this shot, and also the colors of the clouds. This was taken throough my window while moving.
55mm, Iso 400, 1/640 sec, f 6.3

Lion at the zoo. This one needs some post processing like sharpening, some gamma/levels, etc.
265mm, Iso 400, 1/200 sec, f 5.6

I really liked this picture of Ben at the restaurant we visited after the zoo. It reminded me of a picture of James Dean or some other guy leaning in a bar/cafe window late at night reflecting on his loneliness.
