Back awake.

Well, we seemed to have dodged the worst of the storm. It’s still windy out there and lots of rain off and on, but seems mostly like a normal Texas storm with a little more wind.

Some branches down, etc. Nothing major. We may even take some of the boards off in the next couple hours just so we can see out better. (I’ll leave most of them up until tomorrow, I am just too sore to do that today).

    Congrats Kids! And apparently you have power as well :-) We’re going to try and get a flight out as soon as IAH opens up to little planes but it looks like we’re here in Wisconsin a couple more days…I imagine your muscles are still sore from schlepping and installing the plywood but better safe than sorry!     Yep the muscles are sore - mostly a neck cramp that won’t go away, but that’s life. A&J: Your house looks okay. But when we drove by this morning your sprinklers were on :D
