Fun: Dawn & I are going to Jerry & Frazier’s annual Halloween bash in Cypress, Texas. We’ll probably spend the night. The costumes are always a little outrageous, and I think tonight we’ll both drop some jaws on ours. Pictures will be taken and may be posted.
Work: I’ve been working a case for the last 2 weeks that looks like it may require me to go to court and testify on my part. If it does happen, it’ll be the first time I’ve actually had to do that in 10 years of doing PI work. Most of the time the other side caves and a settlement is made and I don’t have to go. A couple of times I have had to show up at a court hearing and the client/attorney will indicate my presence and say “Our investigator is here to testify” and then the other side caves. We’ll see. Court is tentatively Thursday in Conroe.
Pictures: Well I’ve had about 1/2 dozen orders on the Regatta photos. Not too bad. It’s paid for the gas to Port A and back and some of our meals that weekend. It’s a start.

Some things in the past week:
Harvest Moon Regatta: Well, unfortunatly Dawn and the Evensong did not win or place in the race for their class. Bad winds. They actually physically finished faster than several others, but due to the handicapping system used, boats that finished hours after them got put ahead. The weekend was fun though.
Pics: I ended up taking pics of about 60 boats that finished between 11 am and dark at 6:30 PM. They are up now at lakewood.sunstockphoto.com. No sales yet, but a few inquiries about possible sales. The site went up officially on Wednesday, and the Harvest Moon Regatta official site also linked to it then.
Picture Company: Sun Stock Photography is a legal company. I filed for the assumed name certificate back in March, but befor ei went to the regatta I got the Sales Tax license. Yipeee.
Astros: Well for some strange reason the wild card team made the world series. It’s gonna be a ride. It’ll be neat to see the parade if they win.
Weather has been nice here.
That’s about it. No real plans for the weekend.

Well I dropped Dawn off this morning (before 6AM) for her 3rd Annual crewing on the “Evensong” (Les & Deb Adams’ sailing vessel) in the Harvest Moon Regatta. Info on the race cane be found here: http://www.harvestmoonregatta.com/
I’ll leave around 4 AM tomorrow to run by the office for a quick task, then hit the road to Port Aransas, where I’ll be taking pictures of the race finish to sell to the boat captains and crews here: http://lakewood.sunstockphoto.com/
We’ll be returning late Sunday.
Weather looks good for them, so hopefully they’ll have a safe and fast trip.
