Well I had bought a new motherboard and processor to try and fix the main computer (the one for photos), and I could not get them to work. So today I returned them, bit the bullet, and bought a new computer.
I’ll set it up tomorrow, install my photo processing software, and bring over the images I need. So hopefully this weekend I’ll finally be able to get up the Washington vacation photos (only 3 weeks late)
Dawn is in Maine for her cousin Scott Uebelhart’s wedding (Congrats Scott!). I dropped her off at the airport at 5 this morning. It’s now 10:30 PM. So off to bed for me.

I am in Laredo right now doing some security consulting.
I have the vacation pics on the laptop with me, so I’ll process some of them when I can.
The main home computer for webuploads is still kaput, even after buying new parts, so I don’t know when I’ll get that working.

We are back home and back at work.
Dawn picked up the dogs today, and they both seem to have grown!
Only problem so far is that the main computer at the house seems to have gone kaput. Troubleshooting leads me to believe that the motherboard is fried. May have to get a new one. Yuk.
Therefor it might be a few extra days until pics are up.

I’m waiting outside the belltower for Dawn to finish up, then we have about an hours drive to the ferry loading area to ship over to Vancouver.
Still taking pics like a madman, but nowhere near as madmanish as I used to be. Now I am only averaging abut 200-300 pics a day.
Yesterday I visitied an old harbour fort and lighthouse. Also sagged some pics of Canada Geese and some swans. Not much else.
Interesting factoid: I’ve had breakfast most days while in Canada, and had bacon with each one. But it’s not what we call Canadian Bacon, it’s regular american bacon. Still can’t find any ice tea that is worthy of the name though (all ice tea up here is pre-over-sweetened and lemon flavoured - basically a lemonade that has a funky taste to it and looks brown).
