Trip plans that are already made or in progress:

This Year

Next Trip: New York City! In about a week Dawn & I (and our good friend Carlton) will be heading to NYC for about 10 days. We’ll stay in Bronxville (near Yonkers) for a few days at a friend of Carlton’s, then go into the city and stay at a friend of ours (Hi Margaret!) on the middle east side (a few blocks from Central Park), then back to Bronxville for 2 more days. Nominally this is a trip for Dawn’s annual Bell stuff - the Annual Guild Meeting (kinda like a convention for bell ringers), but we are adding some time in for touristy stuff. Of course I’ll be taking pics.
Down side: Money’s real tight right now, and the 3 largest camera stores in the world are in NYC, including the largest used photo supply store. That sucks.

In October we’ll be camping in northern Louisiana with Dawn’s parents.
Thanksgiving may be camping at Cado Lake (NE Texas).

2010

Alaska with Dawn’s Parents. It will be about 10 years exactly since the last time we went there. Will this be a tradition?

2011

July : Exeter, UK: One week trip with Dawn’s choir. May take on a week afterwards to Ireland again.

Some smaller ones that might be inserted next year: Camping in Big Bend (we both want to go back), Flipside in June near Austin, and whatever else we dream up. I may also be doing alot of work trips with a potential partner mostly to LA, Denver, Phoenix & Miami. Will find out more next week hopefully.
