Today we spent the morning at the Rio Grande Nature Center - plenty of birds.

Then this afternoon we went to Tent Rocks, a natural wonder about an hour from ABQ. Here’s a pic from that.

Albuquerque

Dawn & I are in Albuquerque for a few days visiting my Mom, Brother & nephew (and maybe niece) and Dawn’s cousin. It’s cold, crisp & clear. Wonderful.

Here’s a pic from last night of Sandia Peak from my Mom’s backyard, it’s been “painted”, it’s also my PaD for 02/07:

2008 in 2008

One of my projects this year is to put up 2008 photos in 2008.I’m a bit behind (I need to average about 5 1/2 pics a day), but I’ve been posting them on my Flickr account, and just started a version on hre in the new gallery:http://uebelhart.net/gallery2008/ It helps that I am also doing a “Photo A Day” project which will take 366 of the shots needed (although I already missed about 7 days worth!)

With a vacation planned in May/June to the desert southwest and the 3 or 4 1-week work trips to New Orleans and the other possible work trips to Colorado, Tennessee, Florida & California that may occur this year, hopefully I’ll get enough good stuff to put up.
